Good News Story

This morning, officers from the Borough and Bankside team carried out a warrant at an estate within the ward as part of our ongoing work to tackle drug supply and related harm in the local area. The operation was successful, resulting in one arrest for possession with intent to supply. A quantity of drugs, cash, and other items linked to drug supply were also seized.

Following the warrant, our Police Community Support Officers assisted officers in conducting a weapons and drugs sweep in the surrounding area and provided community reassurance by engaging with residents.

Whilst we know this will not completely solve Anti-social behaviour issues in the area, we hope to disrupt it whilst we plan further action to combat those who persistently commit, cause, or allow ASB that prevents people living peacefully.
